Burj Khalifa

Let’s start with the tallest building in Dubai, which is in fact the tallest building in the world – Burj Khalifa. This iconic building sits at 829 metres tall and is right in the heart of the Dubai’s Downtown District. There is the spectacular Top Observatory Deck that will blow you away with the view of the sprawling city; it’s no wonder as to why visiting the top of Burj Khalifa is on many people’s bucket-lists. Burj Al Arab

Another iconic building in Dubai is the famous Burj Al Arab. The self-proclaimed most luxurious hotel in the world really is a spectacular sight and is the third-tallest hotel in the world. Hidden inside this spectacular structure are 28-story double floors which are part of the hotel, world-famous chef dining options, a private helipad and recently a private beach bar. Entrance to here is very restricted however you can get a spectacular view of this Dubai building on the Jumeirah Beach coast.

Emirates Tower

The Emirates have offered two tower symbols to the beautiful city of Dubai with the Emirates Tower. Along the boulevard leading up to the iconic structures are plenty of shopping and dining options. The towers are most-known for the unusual triangular shape that offers easy access for guests & visitors. One of the towers is the Emirates Office Tower, the second being Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel. If you’re not staying here, head to Dubai’s International Financial Centre district for the best view of these structures.

Cayan Tower

Since the Cayan Tower opened in 2013 it has shot up in fame and has since become one of the most iconic buildings in Dubai. The unique twisted structure has been its claim to fame and the 306 metre tall residential tower has been a photographer favourite since it is an icon in the Dubai skyline. Head to the Dubai Marina to see this incredible building, and don’t forget to take your camera!

Dubai World Trade Centre

The Dubai World Trade Centre was one of the first multi-story buildings in Dubai and attracts many for being so historical. Originally built in 1978, this building stands at 149 metres tall and the complex is now used as an office and residential tower as well as plenty of entertainment and dining options.

Sheikh Saeed Al Maktoum House

This historic building was originally built in 1896 and attracts tourists and locals to discover the fascinating history of the Al Maktoum ruling family. This residence overlooks the Arabian Gulf and Deria and Bur Dubai which is one of the most historical districts in the trade of the city. Seikh Saeed Al Maktoum House is now a museum and historical landmark that attracts many, so should definitely be on your list for sightseeing in Dubai.
