Located at Mount Lavinia, an hour and a half south of Colombo airport. Mount Lavinia was formerly the home of the British Governor to Sri Lanka and is located on a promontory, overlooking the Indian Ocean, set amongst fragrant tropical gardens. Mount Lavinia has been extended in size but the hotel retains much of its colonial heritage with polished floors and marble pillars. The capital, Colombo, is less than half an hour away from the hotel. The hotel offers 275 rooms overlook the beach.
