The Sugar Ridge is a luxury boutique hotel located on the west coast of Antigua, just a 25-minute drive from the International Airport, 20-minute drive to the capital of St. John’s and easy access to Jolly Harbour Marina and Golf Course.
The property opened in December 2009 and is the ideal base for exploring everything that Antigua has to offer, while beach facilities, a marina and an 18-hole golf course are a three-minute drive away and accessed by the hotel’s private shuttle. Full Breakfast
Half Board which in addition to breakfast includes dinner at Carmichaels or Sugar Club.
All Inclusive which includes breakfast, lunch and dinner, soft drinks, bottled water, local beers, house wines by the glass and regular brands of liquor. The inclusive plan extends to three nearby hotel nominated beach restaurants and bars at The Nest, Denis's and Turners accessed by complimentary hotel shuttle. Guests can choose from the regular menu at each restaurant, but steak and lobster would have to be paid for separately by the guests. This facility is only available from 10.00am to 5 .00pm daily
Room service is available from 8.00am to 9.00pm (last orders) and carries a charge of US$10.00 per tray.
Picnic hampers are available daily and carry a supplementary charge of US$10.00 per hamper
There are 60 rooms “wrapped” around the hillside with a natural landscape providing seclusion and privacy offering spectacular views and spacious verandas – 32 with private plunge pools
Rooms are decorated in a modern contemporary style featuring a large verandah with a daybed and dining area, muslin draped four-poster king sized bed, rich dark woods contrasting with neutral tones, and travertine tile floors. Carmichael’s is an open-air fine dining restaurant elevated above the hilltop to ensure stunning views with sensational sunsets. The menu offers international dishes infused with Caribbean flavours and fresh ingredients from the local market. Open for lunch most days’ in high season. There is an extensive a la carte menu with daily market changes. Some supplements will apply for guests on Half Board or All inclusive terms
Carmichael’s Bar offers a wonderful selection of cocktails and overlooks an infinity edge freshwater swimming pool and sun deck – an ideal location to enjoy a refreshing drink while enjoying panoramic views and amazing sunsets.
Sugar Club Restaurant is located in the heart of the resort overlooking the main pool area offering Pacific Rim cuisine with a Caribbean Flavours in a chic but casual environment. High ceilings and large open shutters provide a traditional Caribbean feel. Dining is available inside or on the expansive veranda with picturesque views. Open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. serving breakfast, lunch and dinner with extensive a la carte menus and daily specials.
Sugar Club Bar located adjacent to the restaurant with an expansive lounge area with contemporary style furnishing. Fountains surrounding the pool decks provide a romantic backdrop with live entertainment several times each week. Open nightly until late, with Sushi and Tapas served from 3.00 pm.
