Very helpful & patient staff during the booking experience. Flights out & car hire were both very good but the hotel & flights back were sadly not up to expectations.
The hotel room smelt damp & was in a poor state of repair. Divided into several blocks the hotel was in the process of demolishing one of them, so workmen started at about 7:30 with heavy equipment. The noise & dust spread over the pool & children's play area although they were still open to guests. Our room wasn't serviced a couple of days & when reception were asked about it they shrugged their shoulders & frankly couldn't care less. Having said that some of the staff were very good, which only highlighted those that weren't. The American Airline flight back was OK but the stewardesses clearly didn't want to be there. They were rude, unhelpful & unapproachable. They offered a range of beverages to passengers but didn't have the range on board, which didn't seem correct as later in the flight when we walked down the plan others had the choice we wanted, it appeared that they couldn't be bothered to get a specific beer & wanted passengers to take the easy option for them.More importantly they didn't check affectively during take off & landing that seats were upright or that window blinds were open, which I understood was a CAA regulation!
Overall we had a good time but were disappointed with the hotel standard & flights back.
