Things to do during your holiday in Puerto Rico


The Island is made up of seven unique regions: The Metro region is home to the Island’s capital, San Juan, where visitors can find exceptional cuisine and vibrant Island culture where they are invited to Live Boricua. In Old San Juan, Visitors can wander the colourful cobblestone streets on a guided tour to learn about the rich history of the city, passing landmarks such as El Morro along the way.

In the East region, an enchanting mix of secluded beaches, tropical cays and a rainforest awaits. Here visitors will find El Yunque, the only tropical rainforest in the US National Forest System which offers an abundance of activities, including zip lining through the green canopies, on the second longest zipline in the world, named ‘The Beast’ or strolling along the many walking and hiking trails, spotting some of Puerto Rico’s exotic wildlife along the way. Culebra and Vieques are the nearby islands home to renowned beaches and the world’s brightest bioluminescent bay.

The Central Mountains feature majestic mountains, small towns and big adventures; the North region offers impressive caves and unspoilt beaches. The South region offers an array of colourful architecture, historic art and beautiful landscapes. Ponce is the second-largest city on the Island and it is known as "the Pearl of the South" for its many historical and cultural attractions. The West region, Puerto Rico’s capital of surfing and sunsets. Head to Rincon, renowned for being a surfer’s haven and excellent spot to see turtles.
