International Drive Holidays

A holiday in International Drive is always worth considering. Also known to locals as I-Drive, this huge 23km strip is home to some of the best theme parks on the planet, a whole host of different restaurants and mammoth shopping centres.

At the top of the strip, you’ll find Universal Orlando® Resort, where thrill seekers will feel right at home with the massive roller coasters and rides. Whilst you’re there don’t forget to visit Springfield and stop in to say hello to the Simpsons! At the other end is Walt Disney World Resort, where you’ll make memories that will last a lifetime and have the opportunity to meet some of your children’s heroes. If you prefer to stay away from the theme parks, you will still be spoilt for choice of things to do - whether you are into playing golf, bowling or going go-karting, there’s something for everyone to enjoy on an International Drive holiday. There are so many dining options on a holiday to International Drive that you won’t know where to start: whether you love burgers, pizza or Chinese food, there are hundreds of restaurants to enjoy during your stay and even the fussiest of eaters will be satisfied.

You could easily spend all of your time shopping during your holiday in International Drive. There’s everything from high-end designer factory outlets to souvenir shops along the strip. There are over 480 shops in total that are waiting to be explored. The Florida Mall and Mall at Millenia are also nearby, both of which offer a selection of top high streets brands and Mall at Millenia hosts a range of designer shops and boutiques – make sure you leave some space in your suitcase! During the evenings, I-Drive comes alive with a variety of entertainment; take a trip to Pointe Orlando where there are several clubs, bars, fairgrounds and even an IMAX® cinema.

On the whole, the weather is fine all year around on International Drive. Florida boasts temperatures in the high 20s in spring and autumn and it gets even warmer during the summer months.
