A package holiday to Las Vegas will be one to remember: bright lights that hold hopes of excitement, entertainment and gaming through the night, casinos built to replicate cities and big-budget stage shows, which are home to some of the biggest stars in the world.
Witness Las Vegas from a great height on a helicopter ride over the Strip and see the city in all its glory. You will fly over famous landmarks, such as New York, New York, Bellagio, Paris, The Venetian, Caesar’s Palace and loads more. It’s a once in a lifetime experience and one you definitely won’t forget. Take a break from the poker table and go on a short trip from the Strip to the Black Canyon in Lake Mead Recreational Area and you’ll find a canyon that has formed over millions of years by volcanic activity. From here, you can board a raft and go downstream to witness the spectacular canyon; this is the perfect opportunity to see Las Vegas as you’ve never seen it before!
Of course, a cheap package holiday to Vegas wouldn’t be complete without a trip to some of the best casinos in the world. Even if you aren’t an avid gambler, it’s still worth seeing the spectacular decoration and themes of these hotels. If you’ve ever wondered what happens to beloved assets from old casinos, then head down to the Neon Museum, it welcomes unwanted neon signs from hotels and casinos that have been knocked down, rebuilt or remodeled and arranges them in a beautiful display. There are over 130 old signs there, including Aladdin’s original lamp and the Moulin Rouge sign, which was created by graphic designer and Vegas local, Betty Willis. It’s advised to book tickets sooner rather than later as spaces on the guided tours fill up very quickly.
The best time to visit and enjoy your Las Vegas package holiday is either from March to May or September to November. During the summer months, temperatures can rise up to 40°C, which may be uncomfortable. Vegas is a very common getaway destination so it’s worth booking your trip to start mid-week to save a bit of money, you can often find that room rates are lower between Tuesday and Thursday.
